The bulk of the Melvin E. and Joan D. Bleich, Romeo Observer collection consists of printed copies of The Romeo Observer newspaper going back to its origination in 1866. The bulk of the newspapers are large bound volumes. The collection also consists of thousands of photographs associated with the weekly publication from 1945 to the mid-2000s. The Romeo Observer also served as a printing company for many years, and there are records and documents associated with this business as well. |
